Notorious has morphed into KNOTORYUS, adding a fully functional PRODUCTION DEPARTMENT to its roster.
DOMINIQUE NZEYIMANA, former SENIOR PRODUCER of MTV Networks, will be leading this new department.
STEFAAN PAUWELS, founder of Notorious, will be leading the advertising/copy department.

TMF MOBILE
A few years ago, TMF broke all the Mobile Phone Provider Rules into tiny little chopsticks and used those to devour the competition by launching The Mobile Factory. It was a good ride, and NOTORIOUS was proud to have wrapped up the goodies in NOTORIOUS speak for the site and flyers.
Today, we proudly anounce that TMF asked us to lay the past to rest & look towards the future with:
TMF MOBILE, a brand-new mobile provider, powered by Proximus.
The site, the packaging, the flyers and the radio communication were all tweaked by NOTORIOUS (in Dutch and French).

And there's more mobile fun to be had.
Mobistar is going hopping mad. They are unleashing hundreds, nay thousands of wallaby-like creatures all over Belgium.
Mobistar clients can shoot the cute lil' critters with their cell phone, send the mms to Mobistar and win a trip Down Under.
NOTORIOUS was there to conjure up a game name, find a url, fire up the barbie and spice up the copy meat on the site, the e-mail campaign, the radio ads and the flyers.

A couple of days ago we were still thinking that we wouldn't be able to make it, so imagine our surprise when the host of the evening & our hero NIYI called us and invited us to meet him and his sidekick -the soon-to-be fashion designer Thomas Little- up front to make sure we would enjoy the full VIP treatment. All that & seeing Busy P?
Man, sometimes we luck out in ridiculous ways!
On the way to the party Niyi, looking dashing as always, told us all about the global Namaleelovespop-take off & how it feels to see the wave of love & happiness that he initiated spread around the globe..

leaves gaping hole on MTV Dancefloor
After some hard negotiating, a few scuffles and a shipment of Dom Perignon, NOTORIOUS is proud to announce that Dominique Nzeyimana has been convinced to join, lead, harass and propel team NOTORIOUS towards a fitter, happier & healthier future.
Dominique started as an intern at MTV London and fastforwarded her way up to Senior Producer @ MTV Networks Belgium. To give her an official send-off, the Head of MTV Productions threw her a party to end all parties. (When was the last time you came into your office only to find out there's a hard-rocking band getting ready to rip through 'Ace of Spades' in your honour? Pretty f*ckin' cool.)
We are truly honoured to have this extreme talent added to the team full-time.

A few days after the itv, she invited us to visit the Goldsmith HQ
in Notting Hill, LDN.
The Oliver Goldsmith Guestbook has been signed by such luminaries as The Beatles, Peter Sellers, Michael Caine and Kylie Minogue. Right where we slipped in our card you can see a pair of vintage butterfly glasses. (Those are over 40 years old. In fact, they were probably issued when Anna Wintour was still a swinging hippie kid flitting about in ol' Albion. )
Behind the showroom in Notting Hill lies a workshop where prototypes are crafted on the spot and custom eyewear is fitted to your face. When we bumrushed the site, there was an OG series being produced for the ultra-exclusive site 2Oltd.
Here's an exclusive look at the brand-new range of OG sunglasses: you choose a patterned fabric and the on site designer make it into a one off frame.

While I was writing my new music reviews for the ELLE May issue, I noticed that I was about to mention Timothy Mosley's name for the gazzilionth time in six months. He did JT's album, Nelly F.'s and in a couple of days he's about to drop his own & Bjork's...
JT & Bjork, two people who could be working with anyone anywhere. Still they chose Timmy T. Sure, he's a moneymaker. But you can't accuse Miss Barney of being a golddigger.
A couple of months ago JT said in an interview:
"I trust him. He makes great stuff. He's got my back."
Timbaland's got JT's back...
Now you know that this one doesn't have to worry about rivalry gangs sneaking up on him and shooting him in the tush. But if you think about it, we all know what he means. It doesn't matter which part of town you're from: this sentence means exactly the same as "he'll protect my rep" or "he will kick my ass, but he'll kill you if you touch me"
For most of my life I've known how that felt in my personal life because I've got the best big brother & some of the coolest friends in the world. And I thought I kind of knew how it felt professionaly.
But you never know until worst comes to worst, don't you?
And it did. Somebody totally cornered me -while I wasn't looking, cause otherwise I would've kung fu'd the b*tch- this is all metaphorically speaking of course. And I have to admit, I thought I only had two options: one involved giving in, the other one a good old headbutting. I started freakin' out. But some right words at the right time from my soon-to-be husband convinced me of trying a third option.
He said:
"Call the one that's got your back."
I hesitated.
Cause this was the first time that push came to shove. Will he? Won't he? I always had his. But does he know?
So I called, rambled, explained, rambled some more...
and he said:
"Don't worry. I got your back."
And I said:
"But maybe they're right. Maybe what I'm doing is crap."
And he said:
"They should keep their mouth shut about stuff they don't know shit about. You're the pro. I know you. You'll make everyone happy "
And I said:
"But maybe they're right. I still have time. I can fix this. I can think of something else, I'll work 48 hours straight."
And he said:
"No, I won't let you. I trust you. I know you've got it covered. Trust me, I'll take care of them."
And I said:
"Are you sure? I don't want to dissapoint you."
And he said:
"I know you. You won't."
He probably made some calls. Told a few people to back the fuck off.
I went ahead as planned. All the people bothering before were tiptoeing around me. I didn't change a thing.
When it was done, we got props from every level & from all over the country.
Here's the thing: I could've done a lot better. I know it, damn sure he knows it. But he'd risk his own reputation if it meant protecting mine...
It's one of the best feelings in the world.
